FLOAT TRIPS

THE RAFTING CO. offers a variety of length of floats, 3 mile, 5 1/2 mile, 7 mile, 8 mile, 10 mile, 14 mile, 22 mile, and 30 mile. The most popular float is taking the shuttle upriver in the morning and ending at the campground, eliminating the need to wait for a shuttle to take you back to your car or campsite. The shuttles in the morning leave every hour on the hour, starting at 8:00 A.M. Upon making your reservation, select your shuttle departure time to guarantee your preferred float and to avoid waiting for a shuttle.

THE RAFTING CO. offers a variety of sizes of rafts. Rafting is an enjoyable, relaxing, safe means of floating. Small children, the handicapped, and senior citizens are among the many that are getting into floating. Rafts are excellent for the individual family, large groups or company picnics.

We have 4-man, 6-man, 8-man, 10-man, and 12-man Rafts.

Per person rate allows The Rafting Co. to determine what size and how many rafts are required.
(Min. 2 yrs old for Rafting.)

20 to 39 Adults $22.00 per person

40 or more Adults $21.00 per person

Children (12 & under) $ 11.00 per person

PACKING FOR YOUR FLOAT TRIP

What and How much to take on your float trip is always a decision that floaters have to make. Pre-planning your trip is always recommended. The Rafting Co. eliminates 2 adult positions in our rafts to allow room for your coolers. We recommend the following for the maximum amount of coolers to put in your raft.

4-Man Raft------3 Adults-----1 Cooler

6-Man Raft------4 Adults-----1 Cooler

8-Man Raft------6 Adults-----2 Coolers

10-Man Raft-----8 Adults-----2 to 3 Coolers

12-Man Raft-----10 Adults----3 to 4 Coolers

The above is based on a 36 quart cooler. Keep in mind, the more you take, the less room in your raft you have for yourself. Smaller coolers gives you more room and larger ones take away. The Rafting Co. provides room for people in rafts, not a cooler per person.

RESPONSIBILITY

Although floating and outdoor activities are very exciting and popular, participants must realize there is some risk involved. The Rafting Co. will not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged property, or personal injury.

RAIN POLICY

If there is rain at our location the morning of your float ( you must check with us) and if it is still raining at noon, you will receive a rain check. If rain stops by noon, we will float you.

HIGH WATER FLOATING POLICY

Rafts are commonly utilized for higher water conditions. However, if the The Rafting Co. determines floating to be unsafe and/or the facility is shut down due to High Water, a rain check will be issued.
